Meet Our New Executive Director

Welcome to United Way’s GREAT new Executive Director, Sara Bohn!

Bohn, an engineer and business leader, has experience in non-profit, government, and private business. She serves as the District A Supervisor for the Montgomery County Board of Supervisors, and served as the Deputy Director of Habitat for Humanity of the New River Valley. Furthermore, Bohn is a longtime resident of Montgomery county, a Certified Financial PlannerTM, and has 13 years experience in manufacturing engineering and leadership. Bohn has an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering, and an MBA from Rensselear Polytechnic Institute. She succeeds Kymn Davidson-Hamley, who held the post for 27 years.

Sara is a visionary with a proven track record of execution and civic engagement, and she is poised to bring the United Way to new heights.”
